It's a sunshine day...

Danielle is being such a good strong little girl. Nothing much new to report today, and no news is great news! She is doing great on CPAP with low oxygen settings from 24-30% oxygen. They have not made any changes so that is good. Today she had a pick line put in and the venus line removed. This is just a line that goes thru the bottom of her foot and up to her heart and is used for many different things, but like an IV basically. Dylan had this as well. The venus line was removed from her belly button but she does still have the arterial line in her belly button so they do not have to poke her to get blood for screens and blood gases.

She did have a few residuals with her feeds so they stopped the afternoon and evening feeds and will resume them tomorrow. They hear good bowel sounds which is good and some of the residuals was dried blood from the pulmanary hypertension. Concerning to a point but understandable and the docs say she is doing great and stable so that is what we think too! She is a little fightin girly that we love so dearly~ Here are a few pics from today, she has a little hat on her head because this is what the CPAP mask attaches to instead of resting on her skin, it acts as a barrier. But in the other pic she has her little feet crossed just like Dylan always does and if you can look closly at the other pic she is sucking on what we call a lolly pop, a q-tip with breast milk, it is her little treat!

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful baby girl!!! She is prooving to be one strong little fighter, just like her big brother. I can already see Dylan helping her climb up the steps to the ladder and holding her hand to cross the street. Danielle has many, many angels looking over her and many family members and friends who are praying for her daily, even the family at her new pediatrician's office!!!! Amber, you look great and seem like you are recooping well. Brad, you look like a very proud papa, just as you did w/ Dylan. You both are such strong individuals separately, but together, you are so strong, you could move mountains. Remember to keep the faith and know we are all behind you 100%. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance. We love you all. God bless!!
Love, Dave, Jessie and Harrison
